One figure drawing portfolio down, 2 more to go. This portfolio focused on story, weight, movement, and gesture aka "wired" drawings of the figure. It was fun yet challenging to go back and just do rough gestures just to capture that story and movement on paper.

Currently my sister and I are working on an animation short that's part of a multimedia project for AACF (Asian American Christian Fellowship) and these are the two major characters of the short that show up during the music video. Once we finish this project we plan on creating a small, kiddy animation series based on these two cutesy robots. I decided to use these animated characters for my credit still since it was about the same time we finished creating the characters for the music video. And now I would like to introduce, "Kilo and Byte".
Just like the title says these works were done in a green pen and are a compilation of two sketch books one being from my Fall 2011 Ani 112A sketch book and the other my Winter break 2011-2012 "daily sketches" sketchbook.
... There's a random pencil sketch in this one. How did I miss that!?

Here are some design works I did for FanimeCon Rovers.
This was the main design for the "Rovers" T-shirt in the theme of "Steam Punk".
This was also the theme of the convention.
The final design was printed in greyscale on the back of each Rover staff shirt.
Unlike the first image this design was based on the "Rovers" department. and wasn't used as a shirt design.
Instead it was used as the computer background image on the computer used to check in and out Rovers at Base. There is also a gradient version.

So I'm finally posting art works on this blog, yaaaaaaay~ lol. So these images are just a couple of small acrylic paintings done in 10 mins. I had extra paint left over from Ani 113A class tonight from the color wheel project. Random, spontaneous, out of the head speed paintings. I really do miss doing landscape, scenery type paintings... Must do more!
